Inventory Officer

A well-established hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to oversee stock control and inventory management across all departments. This role is essential in ensuring accurate stock records, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting efficient daily operations. Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for hotel supplies and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
• Track stock movement and prepare regular inventory reports.
• Coordinate with purchasing and departmental teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory and report findings.
• Maintain inventory management systems and update records promptly.
• Support audits by providing accurate inventory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and inventory control procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or stock control, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and reporting practices.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accountability.
• Professional attitude with integrity and a commitment to confidentiality.
