Inventory Clerk

Job Description

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping operations running efficiently? We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will manage inventory records, monitor stock levels, and help ensure that ingredients and supplies are always available to support daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements.
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when items require replenishment.
• Organize storage areas to ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
• Check stock for quality, freshness, and expiry dates.
• Work closely with kitchen and restaurant teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Prepare inventory reports and assist with stock audits.
• Follow food safety, storage, and company inventory procedures.
• Help minimize waste through accurate stock management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Storekeeper, Stock Controller, or in a similar inventory role is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and stock control procedures.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare inventory reports.
• Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or spreadsheet software.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to lift and move stock safely when required.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
