Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Schedule staff shifts and allocate daily assignments efficiently.
• Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members to maintain consistent performance.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and report replenishment needs.
• Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with health, safety, and hotel policies.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests and maintenance issues are addressed.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping records, reports, and inspection checklists.
• Promote a positive, productive, and collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Hotel Management, Housekeeping, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning products, and safe handling procedures.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications for scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping.
