A well-established hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team in maintaining exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and presentation throughout the property. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys motivating teams, maintaining high standards, and ensuring every guest room and public area reflects excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met.
• Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance for efficiency and productivity.
• Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment are adequately stocked and properly maintained.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related concerns professionally and promptly.
• Assist in preparing staff schedules and maintaining attendance records.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper in achieving departmental goals and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel, including supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in inventory control and housekeeping documentation.
