Housekeeper

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong eye for detail, a commitment to high cleanliness standards, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize assigned areas thoroughly.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing inventory promptly.
• Ensure housekeeping carts are stocked with necessary cleaning supplies and linens.
• Handle guest requests professionally and in a timely manner.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy while performing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role within a hotel or related setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
