Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest spaces. As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential part in maintaining the high standards our guests expect while ensuring every room and public area is presented to the highest level of cleanliness and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and designated public areas.
• Replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities according to hotel standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas thoroughly.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly.
• Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Handle guest requests professionally and respond promptly to housekeeping needs.
• Follow cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
• Ensure lost and found items are handled according to hotel procedures.
• Work closely with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and proper handling of cleaning equipment is desirable.
