Housekeeper

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness, works efficiently, and enjoys contributing to exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards promptly.
• Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are clean and well-stocked.
• Follow hotel cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests courteously and in a timely manner.
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Support laundry operations when required.
• Work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain daily room readiness.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
