A well-established coffee shop is looking for a confident and service-driven Head Waiter to lead the front-of-house team. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support waitstaff during daily service
• Welcome guests and ensure an exceptional dining experience
• Assign tables and coordinate smooth floor operations
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing team members
• Monitor service quality and address guest concerns professionally
• Collaborate with the kitchen and barista team to ensure timely order delivery
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace hygiene standards
• Support inventory monitoring for front-of-house supplies
• Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a waiter, senior waiter, or supervisory service role within a coffee shop, café, restaurant, or similar setting
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional appearance
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and order management processes
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards
