Are you an experienced service professional who enjoys leading a team and creating memorable guest experiences? We are looking for a confident and organized Head Waiter to oversee front-of-house service in a busy cafe. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the wait staff during daily operations.
• Welcome guests warmly and ensure an outstanding dining experience.
• Coordinate table assignments and manage service flow efficiently.
• Train, coach, and support new and existing team members.
• Monitor service quality and address guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
• Monitor stock levels of service supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or in a similar leadership role within a cafe, restaurant, or related food service environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
• Professional appearance with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
