Job Description

We are looking for a confident and service-driven Head Waiter to join our coffee shop team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, ensuring guests feel welcomed, and keeping service running smoothly even during busy rush hours. You will be the link between customers and the service team, setting the tone for a warm and efficient café experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and floor staff
• Ensure customers receive prompt, friendly, and professional service
• Handle guest complaints or special requests with calm efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness, table setup standards, and service flow
• Support training of new wait staff and guide team performance
• Assist in managing peak-hour operations and order accuracy
• Work closely with the barista and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter or senior waiter in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused attitude with attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of café service standards and etiquette
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally
