Head Waiter

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and service-driven Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team and ensure guests enjoy a smooth, welcoming, and memorable dining experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced café environment and knows how to bring calm structure to busy service hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate waitstaff during daily operations
• Ensure prompt, warm, and professional customer service at all times
• Manage table arrangements, guest flow, and service pacing
• Handle guest complaints or special requests with tact and efficiency
• Support staff training and maintain service standards
• Oversee cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
• Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
• Assist with opening and closing duties of the café

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter, senior waiter, or head waiter in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain composed under pressure during peak hours
• Good understanding of food service etiquette and customer care standards
• Basic organizational and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude with attention to detail
