Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team to achieve outstanding performance.
• Plan, develop, and update seasonal menus that reflect quality and creativity.
• Ensure every dish is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
• Manage food preparation, cooking, and service during operating hours.
• Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
• Control food costs and minimize waste while maintaining quality.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff.
• Coordinate effectively with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service.
• Handle customer feedback related to food quality and implement improvements where necessary.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and used safely.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu development, and kitchen operations.
• Experience managing food costs, inventory, and kitchen budgets.
• Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative approach to menu planning and recipe development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
