Head Chef
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and bring creativity, consistency, and excellence to every plate served. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in delivering memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow
- Design and update seasonal menus with creative and cost-effective dishes
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant expectations
- Manage inventory, food ordering, and supplier relationships
- Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Control food costs and minimize waste while maximizing efficiency
- Collaborate with restaurant management to improve guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef
- Strong background in kitchen leadership and team management
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and international cuisines
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service hours
- Good understanding of food cost control and kitchen budgeting
- High standards of cleanliness and food safety practices
- Creative mindset with a passion for menu innovation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
