Job Description

A vibrant and growing restaurant is looking for a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations and coordinate all food preparation activities
  • Design and update menus with seasonal and cost-effective dishes
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory, food ordering, and stock control
  • Ensure strict hygiene and food safety compliance
  • Monitor kitchen costs and reduce waste where possible
  • Collaborate with management to improve guest dining experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Senior Sous Chef
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse kitchen team
  • Good understanding of food costing and inventory management
  • Excellent creativity and attention to detail
  • Strong discipline in hygiene and food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
  • Culinary training or professional certification is an added advantage
