Guest Service Agent
Job Description
A well-established hotel is seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Guest Service Agent to be the welcoming face of our front desk. If you enjoy meeting people, solving small problems with a smile, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly during check-in and ensure a smooth arrival experience
- Handle reservations, modifications, and check-outs efficiently
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and helpful manner
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
- Manage front desk records and maintain accurate booking information
- Process payments and issue receipts where necessary
- Uphold hotel standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and helpful in busy or high-pressure situations
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking systems is helpful
- A courteous, presentable, and guest-focused attitude
