Guest Relations Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer to join our hotel team. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, solving problems, and creating positive experiences from check-in to check-out. You will be one of the key faces of the hotel, helping guests feel welcomed, valued, and well cared for throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide personalised assistance throughout their stay.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other hotel teams to resolve guest needs.
• Follow up on special requests and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, requests, and feedback.
• Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special occasions.
• Support the resolution of complaints while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
• Gather guest feedback and share useful insights with management.
• Promote hotel facilities, services, and available experiences when appropriate.
• Maintain excellent standards of communication, presentation, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in guest relations, front office, customer service, or a hotel environment is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a naturally friendly and approachable manner.
• Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to remain professional and composed when handling challenging situations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with hotel systems and standard office software.
