Guest Relations Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a Guest Relations Officer to serve as the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
• Build positive relationships with guests and ensure their needs are anticipated and addressed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, feedback, and special requests.
• Conduct follow-ups with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their stay.
• Assist VIP guests and support special events or guest programs.
• Promote hotel facilities, amenities, and services to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle guest feedback constructively and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, service standards, and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in guest relations, front office, customer service, or a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, professional, and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is an advantage.
