Guest Relations Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a professional and personable Guest Relations Officer to join our hotel team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our property, ensuring every guest receives attentive service from arrival to departure while helping to maintain the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Build positive relationships with guests to ensure a memorable stay.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, front office, food and beverage, and maintenance teams to fulfill guest needs.
• Handle guest complaints efficiently and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and transportation.
• Maintain detailed guest records and update reservation systems as required.
• Assist with VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest recognition initiatives.
• Monitor guest feedback and communicate improvement opportunities to management.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, service standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in guest relations, front office, customer service, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is desirable.
