Job Description

We are seeking a talented Grill Chef to join our restaurant team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing perfectly grilled dishes, maintaining high kitchen standards, and delivering consistently excellent meals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled meats, seafood, vegetables, and other menu items to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all dishes are cooked to the correct temperature, quality, and presentation.
• Set up and maintain the grill station before, during, and after service.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and stock levels throughout each shift.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Minimize food waste through proper portioning and stock rotation.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies.
• Report equipment issues and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support menu development by contributing creative grilling ideas when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar kitchen position within a restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, meat preparation, and food presentation.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a demanding kitchen environment.
