Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensure every visitor enjoys a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations
  • Respond to guest inquiries in person, via phone, and email
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and effective problem-solving
  • Maintain an organized front desk area at all times
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable personality
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use reservation systems
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and payments
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is an advantage
