Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere, handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensure every visitor enjoys a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations
- Respond to guest inquiries in person, via phone, and email
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and effective problem-solving
- Maintain an organized front desk area at all times
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-focused attitude with a friendly and approachable personality
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use reservation systems
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and payments
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is an advantage
