Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
• Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments accurately.
• Respond to guest enquiries in person, over the phone, and through email.
• Handle payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain an organised front desk and reception area.
• Keep accurate records of guest information and daily transactions.
• Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Front Desk Clerk, Receptionist, or in a customer service role within a hotel is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Basic numerical skills for handling payments and preparing daily reports.
• A team player with a proactive and dependable work ethic.
