Floral & Décor Attendant

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Floral & Décor Attendant to help maintain beautiful floral arrangements and decorative displays throughout the property. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design, organization, and creating welcoming spaces that enhance the guest experience. Responsibilities

• Design, arrange, and maintain fresh floral displays in guest areas, restaurants, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
• Replace flowers and decorative items as needed to keep displays fresh and attractive.
• Assist with decorating for weddings, conferences, banquets, festive seasons, and special hotel events.
• Water, trim, and care for flowers and indoor plants to maintain their quality.
• Ensure decorative items are clean, properly positioned, and stored safely after use.
• Monitor floral and décor inventory and report replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, banqueting, and events teams to prepare venues on schedule.
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards while handling flowers, tools, and decorative materials.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral design, event décor, visual merchandising, or a similar role within a hotel, event venue, or floral business is an advantage.
• Knowledge of flower care, floral arrangement techniques, and decorative styling.
• Creative eye for colour, balance, and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines, especially during events and peak seasons.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move decorative materials, floral containers, and equipment when required.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
