Floral & Décor Attendant

Job Description

A well-established hotel is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Floral & Décor Attendant to help create inviting spaces that leave lasting impressions on guests. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for floral arrangements, interior styling, and maintaining elegant decorative displays throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Design and arrange fresh and artificial floral displays for guest areas, restaurants, event spaces, and guest rooms.
• Maintain the freshness, cleanliness, and presentation of flowers and decorative items.
• Set up and dismantle décor for weddings, conferences, banquets, and special events.
• Inspect decorative displays daily and replace damaged or faded arrangements as needed.
• Coordinate with the Events, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to ensure décor standards are maintained.
• Store, organize, and care for flowers, plants, vases, and décor materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and report replenishment needs.
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards while handling flowers and decorative equipment.
• Assist with seasonal decorations and festive displays throughout the hotel.
• Ensure all public areas consistently reflect the hotel’s presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral design, event décor, visual merchandising, or a similar role within a hotel, event venue, florist, or related environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of flower care, floral arrangement techniques, and decorative styling.
• Creative eye for colour coordination, balance, and presentation.
• Ability to work with fresh flowers, plants, fabrics, lighting accents, and decorative accessories.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move floral supplies and decorative materials when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
