Floral & Décor Attendant

Job Description

A refined and detail-oriented hotel is looking for a creative Floral & Décor Attendant to help shape the visual atmosphere of our guest spaces and events. This role is perfect for someone who understands that presentation is part of hospitality and who enjoys bringing life, colour, and elegance into everyday environments. You will work closely with the housekeeping and events teams to ensure that floral arrangements and décor elements consistently reflect the hotel’s brand standards and seasonal themes.

Responsibilities

• Design, arrange, and maintain fresh floral displays in lobbies, guest rooms, restaurants, and event spaces
• Set up and refresh décor for banquets, weddings, conferences, and special occasions
• Ensure flowers and plants are properly cared for, watered, and replaced when needed
• Assist in selecting floral themes and decorative concepts for seasonal changes and events
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, tools, and floral supplies
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of fresh flowers and décor materials
• Report damaged items and ensure proper handling of fragile décor pieces

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floral arrangement, décor styling, or hospitality aesthetics preferred
• Strong sense of creativity, colour coordination, and spatial design
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and during events when required
• Good communication skills and ability to follow brand or event briefs accurately
• Physically able to lift, carry, and set up décor materials when needed
• Attention to detail with a consistent focus on presentation quality
• Basic knowledge of flower care and preservation techniques is an advantage
