Our hotel gym is committed to helping guests maintain their fitness routines in a clean, motivating, and well-managed environment. We are seeking a knowledgeable and energetic Fitness Instructor to deliver personalised support, guide members through safe and effective exercises, and contribute to an enjoyable training experience. The successful candidate will bring professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide guidance on the safe and correct use of gym equipment.
• Design and deliver personalised workout programmes based on individual fitness goals.
• Conduct fitness assessments and monitor members’ progress.
• Lead individual and small-group exercise sessions when required.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and encourage safe training practices.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming gym environment.
• Monitor gym equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Motivate guests and provide practical advice on exercise and general fitness.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions and member progress.
• Work closely with hotel staff to provide a high standard of guest service.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Fitness Training, Exercise Science, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Recognised professional certification as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
• Previous experience working in a hotel gym, fitness centre, health club, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness programming, and gym equipment.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate people with different fitness levels and goals.
• Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Strong awareness of gym safety and injury-prevention practices.
