Fitness Instructor

Job Description

Our hotel gym provides guests with a professional, motivating, and welcoming environment for maintaining their fitness routines while travelling. We are seeking a knowledgeable and energetic Fitness Instructor to guide members and hotel guests through safe, effective, and engaging exercise sessions. The successful candidate will deliver excellent fitness support, maintain high safety standards, and help create a positive gym experience for every visitor.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group fitness sessions based on guests’ abilities and goals.
• Develop suitable workout routines, including strength, cardio, flexibility, and mobility exercises.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and ensure equipment is used safely.
• Provide guidance and motivation to guests throughout their workouts.
• Monitor members’ progress and make appropriate adjustments to training programmes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe gym environment.
• Inspect fitness equipment and promptly report faults or safety concerns.
• Explain gym facilities, equipment, and basic fitness procedures to hotel guests.
• Follow established health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with guests at all times.

Qualifications

• Certification in Personal Training, Fitness Instruction, Exercise Science, or a related field.
• Recognised first aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, or gym professional.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness principles, and gym equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with people of different fitness levels and backgrounds.
• Professional, energetic, and approachable personality.
• Good organisational skills and attention to safety.
