Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Fitness Instructor who enjoys creating engaging workout experiences, promoting healthy lifestyles, and delivering outstanding service in a professional fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group fitness sessions for guests of varying fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and recommend personalised exercise programmes.
• Demonstrate the safe and effective use of gym equipment.
• Monitor the fitness floor to ensure guest safety and provide assistance when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and fully operational gym environment.
• Promote wellness programmes, personal training services, and fitness activities.
• Ensure all equipment is inspected regularly and report maintenance requirements promptly.
• Provide guidance on exercise techniques, stretching, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions and guest progress where applicable.
• Respond professionally to guest enquiries and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Professional certification in Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, Exercise Science, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or similar role, preferably in a hotel, fitness centre, or wellness facility.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility techniques.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals with diverse fitness goals.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to safety standards.
• Professional appearance and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wellness team.
