Fitness Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to join our hotel gym team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys motivating others, creating positive fitness experiences, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and group fitness sessions for hotel guests.
• Demonstrate the safe and effective use of gym equipment.
• Develop personalized exercise programs based on guests’ fitness goals and abilities.
• Monitor the fitness area to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Provide guidance on exercise techniques and injury prevention.
• Carry out routine inspections of fitness equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of fitness assessments and training sessions where required.
• Promote hotel wellness programs, fitness classes, and special events.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or an equivalent fitness qualification.
• Previous experience working in a gym, fitness center, or hotel wellness facility is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility techniques.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and highly motivated personality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional appearance and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
