Fitness Instructor

Job Description

A modern hotel is looking for a motivated and professional Fitness Instructor to join its wellness team. The role is all about helping guests feel their best, whether they are keeping up their routine while traveling or starting a new fitness journey during their stay. You will be the friendly face of the gym, guiding safe workouts, creating engaging fitness sessions, and ensuring the gym space feels welcoming, clean, and inspiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group fitness sessions for hotel guests
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and ensure safe usage of equipment
• Support guests in achieving personal fitness and wellness goals
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the gym area
• Carry out basic fitness assessments when required
• Provide tailored workout suggestions based on guest needs
• Monitor gym equipment and report faults or maintenance needs
• Encourage a positive, energetic, and respectful gym environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fitness trainer, gym instructor, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, fitness programs, and safety practices
• Ability to communicate clearly and motivate people of different fitness levels
• Basic understanding of nutrition and general wellness principles
• Certification in fitness training or personal training is an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills and a guest-friendly attitude
• Ability to stay active, attentive, and professional during shifts
• CPR and first aid knowledge is an added benefit
