We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our café team. In this role, you will oversee daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, support budgeting activities, and provide valuable financial insights that contribute to the café’s continued success. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process daily sales reports, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Generate weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate payroll preparation and verify employee payment records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.
• Maintain confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
• Work closely with management to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role, preferably within a café, restaurant, or food service environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Professional integrity and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and payroll administration is an advantage.
