Finance Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Officer to join our hotel team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting smooth daily operations, and ensuring strong financial control across all departments. If you enjoy working with numbers, structure, and accountability in a fast-paced hospitality environment, this position could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including daily income and expenditure reports
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Process invoices, payments, and supplier accounts in a timely manner
• Support payroll preparation and staff expense management
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management review
• Work closely with departments to track costs and improve financial efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within hospitality or service industries
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Degree or professional certification in Accounting, Finance, or related field is an advantage
