Job Description

A Fast Food Attendant is needed to support daily operations in a busy food service outlet, ensuring customers receive prompt service, well-prepared orders, and a pleasant dining experience. The role requires someone attentive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting where teamwork matters.

Core responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and processing orders accurately at the counter or drive-through
• Preparing and assembling menu items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Handling cash, card, and digital payments with accuracy and care
• Maintaining cleanliness of service areas, dining spaces, and equipment throughout shifts
• Restocking ingredients, packaging materials, and beverage stations as needed
• Supporting kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure smooth service flow
• Adhering strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
• Reporting equipment issues or supply shortages promptly to supervisors

Qualifications and requirements:

• Prior experience in food service or retail hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and orders
• Understanding of hygiene standards in food handling environments
• Team-oriented mindset with willingness to take initiative
• Physical stamina for standing and moving during long shifts
