Event Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and creative Event Manager to join our hotel team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys planning memorable guest experiences, coordinating multiple events, and ensuring every occasion is delivered to the highest standard. From corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social celebrations, you will play a key role in creating seamless, exceptional events while working closely with clients and hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee hotel events from initial inquiry to completion.
• Meet with clients to understand event requirements, budgets, and expectations.
• Prepare event proposals, contracts, and detailed event schedules.
• Coordinate with food and beverage, housekeeping, front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth event execution.
• Monitor event setup, service delivery, and breakdown to maintain quality standards.
• Manage event budgets and ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally during events.
• Identify opportunities to increase event bookings and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel policies throughout all events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Event Manager or in event planning within a hotel or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Experience preparing event proposals, contracts, and budgets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
