A well-established hotel is looking for an experienced and highly organized Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of exceptional events. From corporate meetings and conferences to weddings, banquets, and private celebrations, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee hotel events from initial inquiry to successful completion.
• Meet with clients to understand event requirements, budgets, and expectations.
• Prepare event proposals, timelines, and function sheets.
• Coordinate with catering, kitchen, housekeeping, front office, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external suppliers when required.
• Monitor event budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally before, during, and after events.
• Ensure all events comply with hotel policies and safety standards.
• Evaluate event success and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing events in a hotel, conference venue, or event facility.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple departments.
• Strong budgeting and administrative skills.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
