Job Description

A well-run hotel feels effortless to guests, but behind that smooth experience is a Duty Manager keeping everything aligned. We’re looking for someone calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and confident in leading both people and operations across shifts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of activity, solving problems quickly, and making sure guests leave with a great impression every time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and friendly service
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently
  • Supervise front desk, housekeeping, and other on-duty teams
  • Monitor room availability, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and hotel standards are maintained
  • Coordinate with department heads for smooth operations
  • Prepare shift reports and update management on key issues
  • Respond quickly to emergencies or operational disruptions

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel operations or front office supervision
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
  • Good understanding of hotel systems and booking processes
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
