Job Description

We are seeking a courteous, attentive, and professional Doorkeeper to become part of our hotel team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming arrival and departure experience while maintaining a secure and organized entrance. If you enjoy interacting with people, have excellent customer service skills, and take pride in presenting a polished image, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and depart.
• Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving the hotel.
• Offer directions and provide general information about hotel facilities and services.
• Assist with calling taxis and coordinating guest transportation when needed.
• Help guests with light luggage assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor the entrance to ensure only authorized individuals access the premises.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and presentable entrance area.
• Communicate effectively with the front office, concierge, and security teams.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
• Report unusual activities, maintenance issues, or safety concerns promptly.
• Provide assistance during busy periods and special events.
• Uphold high standards of courtesy, professionalism, and guest care at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel, customer service, security, or guest-facing role is an advantage.
• Friendly and approachable personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in busy situations.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and assisting guests when required.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
