DJ Coordinator

Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and highly organised DJ Coordinator to shape the sound and energy of our bar. This role is all about curating vibes, managing DJ talent, and making sure every set fits the mood of the night perfectly. If you understand crowd energy and know how to keep a dance floor alive, this could be your space.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate weekly DJ lineups and set schedules
• Work closely with DJs to align music style with event themes and crowd expectations
• Manage music flow across different time slots and special events
• Ensure smooth transitions between sets and maintain consistent sound quality
• Liaise with bar management and event teams for themed nights and promotions
• Monitor crowd response and adjust music direction when needed
• Handle bookings, contracts, and communication with DJs
• Stay updated on music trends and emerging talent

Qualifications

• Previous experience in DJ management, events coordination, or nightlife entertainment
• Strong understanding of different music genres and crowd dynamics
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and late nights
• Basic technical knowledge of DJ equipment and sound systems is an advantage
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
