DJ Coordinator

Job Description

Do you have a passion for music, nightlife, and creating memorable entertainment experiences? We are seeking a highly organized and energetic DJ Coordinator to oversee DJ schedules, manage music programming, and ensure exceptional entertainment that keeps guests engaged throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage DJ schedules, bookings, and performance calendars.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between management and DJs.
• Ensure DJs adhere to venue policies, performance standards, and event timelines.
• Assist in planning themed nights, live entertainment, and promotional events.
• Monitor music quality, sound levels, and overall guest experience during performances.
• Coordinate with the bar and events teams to deliver seamless entertainment.
• Help source and onboard new DJ talent when required.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and operational issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate booking records, contracts, and performance reports.
• Stay informed about music trends and recommend fresh entertainment ideas.

Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or equivalent qualification in Event Management, Hospitality, Music Business, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience coordinating DJs, live entertainment, or events in a bar, nightclub, or hospitality venue.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of music genres, DJ equipment, and live entertainment operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling or booking software is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
