Job Description
Role Overview
This is a domain-heavy, founder-facing leadership role focused on fixing one of the most broken areas in hospitality: hotel revenue billing, commissions, and reconciliation.
You will work directly with the founder, product, and domain teams to decode real-world hotel–TMC–corporate billing flows, identify revenue leakage, and help design scalable, system-driven operating models that eliminate disputes, delays, and manual dependencies.
This is not a traditional revenue management role.
It is a build-the-operating-model role, grounded in commercial, financial, and system realities.
Key Responsibilities
Hotel Billing & Revenue Flow Design
• Map end-to-end billing flows for corporate negotiated rates, TMC-managed bookings, MICE, and long-stay contracts
• Identify breakdowns across invoice generation, commission calculation, and settlement cycles
• Document current-state vs ideal-state revenue and billing workflows
Commission & Reconciliation Expertise
• Analyse commission models including Onyx, bill-back, overrides, and manual processes
• Identify sources of revenue leakage, disputes, and delayed recoveries
• Design ideal commission calculation, invoicing, and settlement flows that are system-ready
Product & Market Validation
• Act as the hospitality revenue domain owner for the product
• Validate whether proposed invoice–payment–reconciliation models are operationally feasible for hotels
• Support hotel pilots, discovery sessions, and real customer conversations
Requirements:
Required Candidate Profile
Experience
• 8–15 years of experience in hotel revenue, distribution, or hotel finance
• Strong exposure to GCC hospitality markets
• Hands-on experience with corporate, TMC, and negotiated-rate billing models
Skills & Competencies (Must-Have)
• Deep understanding of hotel revenue, commissions, and settlement mechanics
• Experience with systems such as Onyx, Pegasus, CRS, or manual bill-back models
• Strong commercial, contractual, and negotiation insight
• Ability to simplify complex, fragmented operational workflows
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity within a founder-led environment
Salary:
AED 35,000 to 45,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
