Job Description

We are a busy coffee shop committed to serving fresh drinks, quality food, and dependable customer service. Our Delivery Driver will play an important role in ensuring orders reach customers promptly, safely, and in excellent condition. We are looking for a responsible and service-focused individual who enjoys working independently while representing the coffee shop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coffee, food, and other customer orders accurately and on time.
• Collect orders from the coffee shop and verify them before departure.
• Handle food and beverages carefully to maintain quality during transportation.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and use navigation tools effectively.
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Process cash or digital payments when required.
• Keep the delivery vehicle or motorcycle clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Report delays, delivery issues, vehicle problems, or customer concerns promptly.
• Follow traffic regulations and workplace safety procedures.
• Support the coffee shop team with packing and order preparation during quieter delivery periods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle used.
• Previous delivery, driving, courier, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of local roads and effective use of GPS or navigation applications.
• Strong time-management and organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to handle food and beverages responsibly.
• Physically fit enough to carry and transport customer orders safely.
• A professional attitude and clean driving record.
