Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing coffee shop team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, values punctuality, and takes pride in delivering orders safely and efficiently. You will play an important role in ensuring customers receive their beverages, meals, and other items in excellent condition while providing friendly service with every delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders promptly while following assigned routes.
• Ensure food and beverages are transported safely to maintain quality.
• Verify orders before leaving the coffee shop to ensure accuracy.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service during every delivery.
• Collect payments where required and issue receipts when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or delivery issues to management.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Assist with packing, organizing, or preparing orders during quieter periods.
• Support the team with general operational tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of local roads and efficient navigation skills.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Friendly communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry delivery bags, boxes, and supplies safely.
• Reliable, honest, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications.
