Delivery Driver

Job Description

A busy neighborhood café is looking for a reliable and customer-friendly Delivery Driver to help bring our fresh meals, snacks, and beverages straight to our customers with care and speed. If you enjoy being on the move and take pride in good service, this role could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

• Pick up prepared orders from the café and deliver them promptly to customers
• Ensure orders are accurate before leaving the café
• Maintain a clean and well-kept delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, or car depending on assignment)
• Follow assigned delivery routes while respecting traffic rules and safety standards
• Provide polite and professional customer interaction at the point of delivery
• Handle cash or digital payments when required and return receipts correctly
• Report delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous experience in delivery or courier services is an advantage but not required
• Good knowledge of local routes and ability to navigate efficiently
• Basic communication skills and a respectful attitude toward customers
• Ability to manage time well and work under light pressure during peak hours
• Must be responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
• Valid driver’s license or rider’s permit depending on vehicle type used
• Physically fit and comfortable with frequent movement throughout the day
