Job Description

We’re looking for a creative and detail-focused Confectionery Chef to bring sweetness, flair, and consistency to our café kitchen. You’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, chocolates, and signature desserts that match our café’s style and standards. Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily batches of pastries, cakes, desserts, and confectionery items
  • Develop and refine dessert recipes that fit the café menu
  • Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all products
  • Decorate cakes and desserts with precision and creativity
  • Manage ingredient storage and maintain freshness standards
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ingredient ordering when needed
  • Keep a clean, hygienic, and well-organized workstation
  • Work with the kitchen team to meet daily service demands

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a pastry chef, baker, or confectionery specialist
  • Strong understanding of baking techniques and dessert preparation
  • Creativity in dessert presentation and flavor combinations
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately while also innovating when needed
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
