A busy cafe is looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to help maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, kitchen surfaces, restrooms, and staff areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a neat appearance.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste according to cleaning procedures.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, soap, paper towels, and other essentials.
• Clean windows, doors, counters, furniture, and other fixtures.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use.
• Respond promptly to spills and maintain cleanliness throughout operating hours.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged equipment to management.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a cafe, restaurant, hotel, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of cleaning methods, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a positive work attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
