Job Description

A busy restaurant is seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. If you take pride in keeping spaces spotless and enjoy working as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, corridors, and staff facilities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with hygiene procedures.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and restroom essentials as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, and other fixtures.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or safety hazards promptly.
• Support the team with general cleaning tasks before, during, and after service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is an advantage but not essential.
• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in hospitality or food service, is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to perform duties involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
