Job Description
There’s something special about handcrafted chocolate. From delicate truffles to rich chocolate desserts, every creation tells a story. We are looking for a talented Chocolatier to bring creativity, precision, and passion to our café kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of chocolates, truffles, pralines, bonbons, and chocolate-based desserts.
- Develop new chocolate recipes and seasonal offerings.
- Temper chocolate using proper techniques to ensure quality and consistency.
- Decorate and present chocolate products to a high standard.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and assist with stock control.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards within the workspace.
- Work closely with the kitchen and café team to create memorable guest experiences.
- Ensure all products meet established quality standards before service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and confectionery techniques.
- Creativity and attention to detail in product presentation.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Passion for creating high-quality desserts and chocolate products.
