Our cafe is expanding its artisan chocolate offerings and is seeking a talented Chocolatier who enjoys creating exceptional confections while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of handcrafted chocolates, truffles, pralines, ganache, chocolate bars, and seasonal specialties.
• Temper chocolate using appropriate techniques to achieve consistent quality and finish.
• Develop and refine chocolate recipes while maintaining product consistency.
• Decorate and package chocolates to a high presentation standard.
• Monitor ingredient quality, freshness, and stock levels.
• Maintain accurate production schedules to meet daily demand.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are consistently followed.
• Assist in developing limited edition collections and festive products.
• Minimize waste through efficient production planning and inventory management.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and cafe team to support dessert and beverage offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef with chocolate specialization, or in a similar artisan chocolate production role.
• Strong understanding of chocolate tempering, molding, enrobing, and decorative techniques.
• Knowledge of confectionery production methods and ingredient handling.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
