Job Description

A vibrant restaurant is looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to take charge of a specific section in our kitchen. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys precision, creativity, and working in a fast-paced culinary environment where quality truly matters.

Responsibilities

  • Run and manage a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, sauce, or larder)
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes consistently to restaurant standards
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure ingredients are properly stored, handled, and used efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
  • Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
  • Good teamwork skills with clear communication in a kitchen setting
  • High attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
