Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate all food preparation activities
- Design, develop, and update seasonal menus that reflect quality and creativity
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation standards
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste
- Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with overall restaurant goals
- Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance and usage
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably as a Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food presentation, and kitchen management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Creativity and a passion for menu innovation
