Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences while maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate all food preparation activities
• Design, develop, and update seasonal menus that reflect quality and creativity
• Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high performance
• Manage inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste
• Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with overall restaurant goals
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance and usage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably as a Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food presentation, and kitchen management
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Creativity and a passion for menu innovation
