CCTV Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a professional CCTV Operator to join our hotel team. This role is ideal for someone who can monitor surveillance systems with accuracy, respond promptly to incidents, and support the overall security of guests, employees, and hotel property.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems continuously to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
• Record, document, and report incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with security personnel and management during emergencies or security concerns.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure surveillance equipment is functioning properly.
• Review and retrieve recorded footage when required for investigations.
• Control access to restricted areas through monitoring systems where applicable.
• Maintain detailed logs of security events, observations, and daily activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and escalate issues according to established procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality when handling surveillance footage and sensitive information.
• Follow hotel security policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator, Security Officer, or in a similar surveillance role within a hotel or related environment is preferred.
• Valid CCTV operation or security certification is an advantage.
• Good understanding of CCTV systems, monitoring software, and surveillance equipment.
• Strong observational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in preparing incident reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Professional integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Physically fit and capable of responding appropriately to security situations.
